‘The Princess who couldn’t sleep’ began it’s
life as ‘The Prince who couldn’t sleep’!
At the 2007 Bologna Children’s Book Fair, the title
was bought by Australian publisher, Koala Books.
With years of experience in the children’s book industry,

Gordon asked if rather than a prince it could be a princess.
Adapability is important and with a few tweeks,
a tiara instead of a crown, a change from blue to pink,
the book becamen‘The Princess who couldn’t sleep’.
